Matt Buchanan wrote Ernie’s Place (originally titled I Remember Ernie) while he was an MFA student at the University of Texas.  The script was premiered as a touring show that was presented in the Austin public schools.  The play had its second production at Highland High School with the playwright in residence while the writer was living in Austin.  The script is now published by Brooklyn Publishers.  Buchanan currently serves as Theater Director at St. Luke’s School in Connecticut.
